Born and raised in Moldova, 15 years ago I left my sunny comfort zone and ventured far from home to Sweden where I did my master studies. To my surprise, Swedish grey weather did not scare me and very soon Gothenburg became my home. In Sweden I have gained my experience at Gothenburg University working with research in international business. Several years later this experience made me discover my passion for quality and technology. Why quality and technology? Because it is such an interesting and yet complex concept - it's intangible and multidimensional; we can never truly see what quality is but we can assume that it exist by observing how customers respond to the product. As a software tester I am not just trying to detect bugs but also together with other teams we provide visibility on the state of product's quality. Such data is of much value as it helps continuously improve quality. When I am not working, I love spending free time with my husband and our two sons. Our favourite activity is travelling through mediterranean countries enjoying sea, discovering local cuisine and wines.
